Before we begin
Pre-consultation
- A symptom questionnaire is emailed to you, to help determine whether BHRT is likely to benefit you.
- Please ensure your cervical smear is up to date.

Initial consultation
1 hour · £200- A detailed medical history, a review of your symptoms, and an examination if necessary.
- We choose the appropriate blood profile for your symptoms — Peri/Menopause profile £200, PMS profile £60, or Male profile £180.
- You're given a blood pack; bloods can be taken at The Bridge Clinic or Ultrasound Direct in Maidenhead (up to £20, paid to the clinic directly).
- A baseline pelvic / endometrial-thickness ultrasound scan is required before treatment (£99, paid to the ultrasound clinic), repeated at 6 months and then annually.

Follow-up appointment
30 mins · £100- One week after your initial consultation.
- We formulate an individualised BHRT treatment plan, with lifestyle and dietary advice.
- Your blood results are explained in full.
- A prescription is issued and sent to Specialist Pharmacy — approximately £95–115 for a 3-month supply (around £1–3 per day), valid for 12 months.
- Enough cream is prescribed between appointments; additional prescriptions outside normal prescribing carry a £25 charge.

Reviews in your first year
30 mins · £100 each- A 6-week review to check your response to BHRT.
- A 12-week review to check whether a dose increase is indicated.
- A 6-month review, with repeat bloods and a repeat pelvic scan recommended.
- A 1-year review and repeat pelvic scan.
Ongoing care
30 mins · £100- I recommend a clinic review every 6 months on an ongoing basis.
- Bloods and pelvic scans are recommended at least annually, or sooner if your symptoms change.
Third-party fees (blood tests, ultrasound scans and pharmacy charges) are paid directly to those providers. Partners include The Bridge Clinic, Ultrasound Direct and Specialist Pharmacy.
